Acute tonsillitis
Acute tonsillitis may occur in the
form of acute ill - an inflammation of the palatine tonsils and the adjacent
mucous membrane of the throat.
The cause of the disease is a virus
infection. Symptoms include a sore throat that increases swallowing and fever.
Home treatment: similar to acute rhinitis.
After 48-72 hours, it is usually better and
healed. The persistence or exacerbation of the disease indicates bacterial
infection and the need for specialist treatment.
